Around the beginning of October, 2000 I set up this website for
my Family's use - about 20 people in all (wife, children, parents,
sisters, nieces, nephews, etc.).
At first it took a little nudging to get people to sign on and enter
their wish lists for Christmas...but the result was something that had
never happened before. For the first time ever, everybody in my
family actually had a list. Having a single place to put ideas
down made all the difference in the world.
Another remarkable thing came as a result of using GiftList2000.com -
everybody was done their Christmas shopping by Thanksgiving! Earlier
than they usually would have started.
